THE GOAL: Develop a common vision and purpose across leadership
OZ partnered with the University of Oxford to help a global trading company’s leadership team to align on an organizational purpose. This alignment would inform critical decisions and ultimately drive sustainable business growth.

THE METHODOLOGY: ZMET
Olson Zaltman conducted one-on-one ZMET interviews with 25 senior leaders at the organization about their vision for the role and purpose of their company in the world.

THE INSIGHTS: Leadership was divided on the company’s story
As the organization faced the future, maintaining tradition but also embracing change was a source of tension across the leadership team. Leaders were of 2 minds.
